Tone apps

Overview
Tone Recall, Tone Steady, Tone Ritual, Tone Threshold, and Tone Mirror do not require an account or sign-in.
The apps are designed as local-first audio and reflection instruments. Saved tones, chamber memories, threshold marks, return history, ritual progress, guidance preferences, Tone Mirror memories, and app settings are stored on your device or in your browser where needed so the experience can work.
Local information
The Tone apps store the information you choose to keep, plus app settings needed for the experience to work. This may include held tones, selected states, saved threshold questions, ritual progress, symbolic memories, local preferences, and audio settings.
Sharing and exports
The Tone apps do not automatically send your saved reflections to other people or services. If you export or share something, the app uses Apple's share sheet and you choose the destination.
Purchases
Premium purchases are processed by Apple. The relevant Tone app receives the purchase status needed to unlock or restore premium access, but does not collect your full payment card details.
Tracking and advertising
The current iOS apps do not use advertising SDKs or account-based tracking.
Voice and audio
Some Tone apps include bundled voice guidance or voice notes. These audio files are stored inside the app and play locally at runtime.
Remote sharing
The current launch apps do not require networked sharing to function. If remote sharing is added later, this policy and the App Store privacy details will be updated before launch.
Deleting data
To remove local Tone app data, delete saved items in the app where available, clear the local Tone Mirror archive in the browser, or delete the app from your device.
